Leema's Green Cardamom is from Kandy, Sri Lanka. Our partner farmers sustainable harvest these cardamoms, once you try these cardamoms you will know the real aroma and flavor of cardamom.
These pods bring a citrusy, intense flavor to any dish. Each pod is a combination of a triangular outer shell containing seed clusters arranged in a spindle shape, containing anywhere from eight to 16 seeds with a brownish hue. These seeds can be removed and ground to powder, or the pod can be used whole.

While our farmers are expert in the industry, they also think about the quality of the spices, the growing conditions, and the bio-diversity. Generally, spices in the USA have significantly low nutritional value as they are old spices.
